NXG is delighted to be an official supporter of adventurer Dean Stott.
NXG believed in Dean from the beginning, sponsoring his jersey long before he left Aberdeen to set a cycling world record for the Pan American Highway from Argentina to Alaska.
Dean completed the gruelling 13,670-mile challenge in 99 days, 12 hours and 56 minutes to set a new Guinness World Record – breaking the previous all-time best by 18 days. In addition, he broke the world record for cycling the length of South America by 10 days.
This amazing effort was all for a good cause. Dean, a former special forces soldier, has raised £1m for the partners in mental health campaign, Heads Together. He left the forces after a parachuting accident in 2010.
Mark Stephen, COO at NXG, said:
“We’re delighted to have supported Dean’s campaign through sponsorship and support at dinners in Aberdeen and London. I know Dean will be planning another challenge in 2019 – and NXG will be there to support him again.”
