NXG has streamlined its quality management systems for greater flexibility as the business targets further growth.

The innovative drilling specialist, which supports client operations in more than 50 countries, is ISO 9001 2015 accredited. Previously, NXG had separate certifications for two sites – one in Aberdeen, the other at Longside, near Peterhead. A new single certification for the whole group creates a more manageable process with the addition of more bases on the horizon.

Sarah Ricaurte, Group QHSE Advisor at NXG, said; “The group certification streamlines our processes and puts us in a better place to handle our growth ambitions. It means we have one audit across sites as required. This makes sense with the new bases opening up in the next few months. From an internal and external perspective, it’s essential we have first-rate procedures in place as they form a cornerstone of our commitment to excellence.”

The attainment of ISO 9001 2015 demonstrates NXG’s quality management systems in the manufacture, repair, and rental markets of the drilling tools sector. In addition, NXG has attained the American Petroleum Institute (API) 7-1 accreditation – an internationally-recognised certification. The next step for NXG is the ISO 14001 which covers environmental management.
